What Age Groups Are the Books For?

Landmark Legends are written for adventurous readers aged 7-10, with clear language and exciting plots that are perfect for KS2 children.

Do I Need to Visit a Landmark to Enjoy the Book?

Not at all! Each story stands on its own, but visiting the real locations and museums adds a magical extra layer for readers.

Are the Stories Historically Accurate?

We blend real places and local legends with imaginative storytelling. Unless specified, the stories weave real-life historical facts and settings with fictional narratives.

Can I Buy the Books in Shops?

You can find our books in the gift shops of each location, as well as selected independent bookshops nearby. They are also available on Amazon, but the best prices are found in local shops.

Are There Resources for Schools?

We do not currently provide resources for schools, but we are hoping to release classroom resources and play scripts in the near future.

Who Writes the Landmark Legends Books?

All books are written by author and former English teacher Matt Twinley, who brings each location’s history and legends to life with exciting, age-appropriate stories.
